The standing members of the provincial Party Committee checked the proposed location of a project to build a TMS eco-park in Chi Linh provincial town and a 36-hole golf course.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee (PPC), Chairman of the provincial People's Council; PPC Standing Deputy Secretary Vu Van Son; and Mr. Nguyen Duong Thai, PPC Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Head of the provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, on July 7 morning checked the proposed location of a project to build a TMS eco-park around Ben Tam lake in Chi Linh provincial town and a 36-hole golf course.
They were accompanied by Mr. Nguyen Anh Cuong, Member of the PPC's Standing Board cum Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and representatives of some departments, branches, and local authorities.
As proposed by TMS Global Corporation (Ha Noi), the TMS Chi Linh Eco-park project will cover a total area of about 400 ha in Hoang Hoa Tham and Bac An communes and Ben Tam ward.
Under the project, the technical and social infrastructure will be built in sync, including detached and semi-detached villas, shop-houses, supermarkets, hospitals, schools, sport and entertainment zones, etc.
It is expected that the project will be carried out in 10 years, divided into three phases, with a total investment of about VND6,400 billion.
About 100 ha will be exploited in the 1st phase (2nd quarter of 2020 - 4th quarter of 2022), 150 ha in the 2nd phase (3rd quarter of 2023 - 4th quarter of 2026), and the remaining area in the 3rd phase (1st quarter of 2027 - 4th quarter of 2028).
To realize the project, the enterprise intends to recruit and train locals to work there (accounting for 70 - 80% of the total employees).
With hotels and villas attached, the 36-hole golf course in the project will be constructed following international standards in five years on a total area of 192 ha in Hoang Hoa Tham commune and Ben Tam ward.
The golf course is expected to go into operation upon completion in the 2nd quarter of 2023 with a total investment of more than VND2,500 billion.
The project aims to synchronize the technical and social infrastructure, supplement the local housing, increase utilities and services for the locality and surrounding areas, contribute to promoting the urban upgrading progress in Chi Linh, etc.
At the working session, KVC Vietnam JSC. and Wooridul Group proposed the investment of USD300 million in building a five-star resort and a 36-hole golf course in Chi Linh to the PPC standing members.
Quang Nam Quy Tin One Member Co., Ltd. (founding shareholder of KVC Vietnam JSC.) surveyed the project and made the investment proposal.
A representative of FLC Group also suggested the construction of a golf course in Chi Linh.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Vu Van Son and Mr. Nguyen Duong Thai affirmed that Hai Duong always welcomed enterprises coming for study and investment.
There remain many favorable areas for investors in the province. With available natural conditions, enterprises having good ideas, best promoting the potential, and boosting the local socio-economic development will be prioritized.
For efficient implementation, enterprises must prove their financial capability and investment determination.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien hailed the enterprises for coming to learn about and invest in Hai Duong.
The provincial authorities always accompany, facilitate, and remove difficulties for effective investment of businesses.
The PPC secretary assigned the Departments of Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment, and Agriculture and Rural Development and Chi Linh provincial town authorities to provide materials and support for the enterprises to have sufficient information to process procedures quickly and efficiently.
He appointed Mr. Nguyen Anh Cuong and Mr. Hoang Van Thuc, Deputy Chief of the PPC's Secretariat cum Clerk of the PPC Secretary, as points of contact for the enterprises to make connections and learn about the local information and regulations to take investment steps.
Earlier, the PPC standing members visited and offered incense at Thanh Mai pagoda in Hoang Hoa Tham commune.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien suggested that the Relic Management Unit of Linh provincial town continue to pay attention to, invest in, and promote the historical, cultural, and scenic value of Thanh Mai pagoda relic site and, at the same time, create conditions for visitors to offer incense and worship at the relic site favorably and safely, preserve environmental hygiene, security, and order, and prevent and fight fires in and outside the relic area.
