Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hien and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duong Thai on September 3 afternoon inspected the construction progress of the Eastern Land Cultural Center.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hien required the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects and contractors to overcome weather difficulties and increase means, machines, and workers to guarantee the quality and progress of the work.

The contractors should organize overtime work, focus on construction on fine weather days, and not let bad weather affect the set progress and plan.

Construction and construction supervision must strictly follow the approved design and technical conditions.

The quality of work items must meet the standards applied to the project.

The Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects should closely coordinate with relevant departments and sectors to promptly report and propose solutions to problems and difficulties arising during the construction.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that the contractors should have encouragement regimes and pay attention to the accommodation and working conditions of their workers. Construction must ensure labor and traffic safety and environmental hygiene.

As reported by the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects, by September 3, the piles, foundation, basement, concrete beams, and floor of the 1st storey of the Eastern Land Cultural Center had been constructed.

The contractors are building piles and elevator walls and assembling a framework to concrete the floor of the 2nd storey.

Because of much rain caused by storms No. 2 and 3, the construction progress is about five days behind schedule. The investor has asked the contractors to work out measures to keep pace with the schedule in the coming time.

The work is expected to be completed in June 2020.
