There is no more industrial land in the industrial zone for new projects because the remaining industrial land is reserved for factories in the industrial zone to hire for expansion.
According to Dai An Industrial Zone (IZ) Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd., by the end of August 2019, the 1st-phase expanded Dai An IZ had lured 47 secondary investment projects with a total investment of nearly USD1.2 billion.
33 projects have gone into production, 12 are being carried out or applying for construction permits, and two have not been implemented.
To date, more than 104.5 ha of the expanded Dai An IZ have been rented out, accounting for 85% of industrial land in phase 1. There is no more industrial land in the IZ for new projects because the remaining industrial land is reserved for factories in the IZ to hire for expansion.
The expanded Dai An IZ is planned to cover an area of 433 ha.
In May 2016, the Provincial People's Committee approved the adjustment of a blueprint for the construction of the expanded Dai An IZ with an area of 416.21 ha in total and 189.02 ha in phase 1.
