Hai Duong pupil wins national first prize of 48th UPU International Letter Writing Contest

Seven pupils and one school in Hai Duong province have won national-level individual and collective prizes of the 48th UPU International Letter Writing Contest.



Nguyen Thi Mai from class 10K of Nam Sach Senior High School has won the national first prize of the 48th UPU International Letter Writing Contest

According to the Contest Organizing Board, Nguyen Thi Mai from class 10K of Nam Sach Senior High School (SHS) won first prize and Le Van Anh from class 6C of Nguyen Hue Junior High School (JHS) in Cam Giang grabbed a consolation prize.

In addition, Bui Thuy An from class 8D of Binh Han JHS in Hai Duong city and Nguyen Dinh Khoi from class 6C of Nguyen Hue JHS pocketed promising prizes.

Dang Duy Tuan Anh (class 7C), Nguyen Thi Hoa Hau (class 7D), and Nguyen Ngoc Mai (class 6A) at Vo Thi Sau JHS in Hai Duong city were pupils with disabilities receiving special prizes from the jury.

Nam Sach SHS secured the collective prize. This is also the second consecutive year Nam Sach district has had first-prize winner at the contest.

Themed “Write a letter about your hero,” the 48th UPU International Letter Writing Contest was launched on October 12, 2018.

More than one million letters of pupils nationwide were sent to the organizers.
