The People's Committee of Hai Duong province on September 22 issued a document directing the continuation of Covid-19 prevention and control in the new normal.
The provincial People's Committee required agencies, units, enterprises, and the entire people to take all preventive measures as guided by the Health Ministry like wearing face masks when going out, at public places, and in public transport vehicles; frequently washing hands with soap or an antiseptic solution; limiting large gatherings in public places outside offices, schools, and hospitals; keeping a safe distance when in contact; and gradually forming suitable habits and lifestyles in the new situation to keep themselves, their families, and society safe.
Each collective and individual should actively establish a new normal, promote socio-economic development, and prevent Covid-19 at the same time; absolutely not be subjective or underestimate the pandemic; not let careless testing, isolation, and checkups and slow detection of infection cases and prevention of infection risks occur like recent incidents in some areas.
The decision of the provincial People's Committee relaxes the scope and number of participants in crowded festivals, religious activities, and events.
Specifically, festivals, religious activities, and events gathering a large number of people (fewer than 70) in public places are allowed to take place normally but there must be a record of sufficient information of the participants to facilitate tracing later (if there are SARS-CoV-2 positive cases) and all preventive measures must be taken.
Unessential service establishments such as game and karaoke parlors, bars, and discos continue to be suspended.
Heads of departments, sectors, and localities should intensify direction and administration to maintain and well organize socio-economic activities in each sector, field, and locality and not let work be interrupted or stagnated, especially work with time-limits or prescriptions and public services for people and enterprises.
