Mr. Vuong Duc Sang, Member of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, on August 24 morning received and worked with a delegation led by Mr. Shoji Asakura, Head of the External Relations Board of Kagoshima prefecture (Japan).
At the meeting, Mr. Shoji Asakura expressed his gladness to together with leaders of Kagoshima prefecture welcome and work with Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Member of the Vietnam Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, in Kagoshima last April.
After having given an overview of Kagoshima's socio-economic situation, Mr. Shoji Asakura said leaders of the prefecture desired that the two localities would strengthen cooperation, assistance in training, assurance of human resources, economic development, cultural exchanges, etc.

Mr. Vuong Duc Sang welcomed the delegation's working visit to Hai Duong. He hoped that the two localities would promote the potential and strengths of each side to concretize and effectively implement the development cooperation guidelines exchanged and agreed to by leaders of the two localities.
Hai Duong authorities would well prepare necessary conditions to organize the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between the two localities.
Representatives of the two provinces preliminarily consented to a program for a working visit of the Kagoshima Governor to Hai Duong this October and the content of the memorandum to be signed this occasion.
Kagoshima prefecture is located at the southernmost tip of Kyushu, one of Japan's four main islands. The prefecture ranks second in Japan in terms of agricultural output value and has great potential and strengths for tourism, trade, and service development.
