[Video] Japanese ambassador delegation visits ancestral lychee tree in Thanh Ha

The Japanese ambassador delegation and representatives of Japanese businesses in the province had a meaningful visit to the ancestral lychee tree and an export lychee growing area in Thanh Ha.

Mr. Pham Xuan Thang, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam Yamada Takio on May 30 afternoon visited the ancestral lychee tree in Thuy Lam hamlet, Thanh Son commune, and an export lychee growing area in Ha Vinh hamlet, Thanh Quang commune, Thanh Ha district.

They were accompanied by Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, representatives of several departments and sectors, and 68 Japanese delegates representing businesses in the province.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang introduced the specialty of Thanh Ha thieu lychee to the Japanese ambassador, hoping that he would spread the image of Thanh Ha thieu lychee to Japanese people after his visit and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to export lychees to Japan.

Japanese delegates pick lychees in Ha Vinh hamlet, Thanh Quang commune

The ambassador hoped that Hai Duong province would bring quality lychees to Japanese people, facilitate Japanese businesses' operation, and increase solidarity and long-term attachment after his visit.

During the visit, the Japanese visitors were interested in picking lychees, enjoying sweet fruits in gardens, and taking souvenir photos.
